Mersen Teesside Win Export Team of The Year Award

Congratulations to Mersen UK Teesside Ltd for winning this year’s PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards, hosted by UMi, shortlisted 48 companies in recognition for their overseas success. The finalists were selected from over 120 nominations from across the North of England.

The event, established in 2016 by UMi, recognises the North’s top exporters and highlights their achievements in international trade.

Teesside’s entry was based around the ACE team and how they worked with their affiliate company in Japan to successfully sell Cubic heat exchangers into the highly competitive Japanese market. The award recognises that a team can demonstrate significant added value to their business through adopting innovative techniques, personnel development measures, and successful implementation of the company's export sales strategy.
